OUR MISSION: "LUTHERANS SUPPORTING REFUGEES IN CALGARY"
We are Lutherans (and non Lutherans) from all the churches in the Southwest Area of the Synod of Alberta and the Northwest Territories.
Our current Fundraising Mission is to provide housing for two no refugee families. We are hoping to raise funds to continue to assist each family with housing/utility costs for a year so they can study English and find work. That is $2,000/month or $24,000 per year.
Donations can be made out to All Saints Lutheran and designated to SWARM, or you can make a donation directly to Lutheran Churchof Our Saviour, again designated to SWARM.
Our Core Committee meets at First Lutheran Church on the second Monday of every month and anyone is welcome to attend at anytime!
